2014 Rose of Pinot Noir — 90 Points — Josh Raynolds
Vivid orange-pink. Zesty, sharply focused nose displays an array of red berry and floral scents plus hints of succulent herbs and white pepper. Taut, mineral-dominated redcurrant and strawberry flavors open slowly with air, showing very good depth. Smoothly plays power off finesse and finishes with resonating florality. Reviewed April 2015.

2013 Manchester Ridge Vineyard Pinot Noir — 92 Points — Antonio Galloni
The 2013 Pinot Noir Manchester Ridge Vineyard is the first wine Red Car has made from this site on the Mendocino Ridge, and it is a beauty. Floral, savory and saline notes are the principal signatures. There is no shortage of personality in the 2013, a wine that impresses for its textural finesse and overall persistence. Drink this very pretty, gracious Pinot over the next handful of years. Reviewed January 2015.

2012 Zephyr Farms Vineyard Pinot Noir — 92 Points — Antonio Galloni
All the best elements of the Red Car House style come together in the 2012 Pinot Noir Zephyr Farms Vineyard. The flavors are very much bold and intense, here, too, there is plenty of aromatic lift. Violets, lavender, cloves and licorice add layers of complexity, but what comes through most clearly is an extra level of depth from the small berries in this site. Reviewed January 2015.

2012 Estate Vineyard Chardonany — 92 Points — Antonio Galloni
The 2012 Chardonnay Estate Vineyard has come together beautifully since I tasted it last year. The most intense and phenolic of the Red Car Chardonnays I tasted, the 2012 is firing on all cylinders today. Bright veins of salinity give the wine its considerable structure. Lemon peel, white flowers and white pepper add nuance on the striking finish. I tasted the 2012 from magnum. Reviewed January 2015.

2012 Estate Vineyard Syrah — 91 Points – Antonio Galloni
Rose petals, white pepper, crushed flowers and dark red stone fruits meld together in the 2012 Syrah Estate Vineyard. Hints of tobacco, new leather and cedar follow, adding further shades of nuance. Pliant and textured on the palate, yet with lovely aromatic intensity, the 2012 is an excellent choice for drinking over the next few years. In 2012, the Estate Syrah is a bit less varietal than it typically is, something that is quite common in this vintage. Reviewed January 2015.

2012 Hagan Vineyard Pinot Noir — 90 Points — Antonio Galloni
One of the darker wines in the Red Car range, the 2012 Pinot Noir Hagan Vineyard fleshes out with black cherries, cloves, licorice, leather and smoke. The flavors are decidedly bold and voluptuous, yet the wine retains the classic mid-weight Red Car personality. Reviewed January 2015.

2012 Ritchie Vineyard Chardonnay — 90 Points — Antonio Galloni
The 2012 Chardonnay Ritchie Vineyard is one of the more subtle wines readers will taste from this iconic Sonoma Coast site. Smoke, butter, brioche, pastry and lightly honeyed notes wrap around the succulent, expressive finish. Gently spiced notes add complexity on the finish. Reviewed January 2015.
