Great Wine — A Family Tradition!
Imagine the opportunity to taste some of the finest wines in California offered award-winning small, family-owned wineries that create wines from many of the state’s fabled wine growing regions. Family Winemakers will host its annual tasting of family-produced and hard-to-find California wines with varietals or blends from California’s famed appellations. If you can’t get to the wine country let them come to you!

Rosé Release Party
Celebrate With Us! Join winemakers Tanner Scheer & Kenny Strauss as we celebrate our newly released 2023 Rosé of Pinot Noir paired with Sweet T’s BBQ, a sweet selection of local chocolates, live music on the patio and a curated Wine Flight featuring New Releases & Team Favorites. Festivities kick off Friday, April 5, 2024 with a sponsor-only Winemakers’ Reception and Gourmet Dinner. Event at the Omaha Marriott Downtown at the Capitol District, 222 N. 10th St., Omaha, NE 68102. Guests will enjoy a multi-course meal paired with wines from our esteemed vintners. A featured vintner representative will be seated at each table, and that table will enjoy wines exclusively from their featured vintner.
Day two of this amazing celebration will consist of a Grand Wine Tasting, Dinner, and Live and Silent Auctions at the Omaha Marriott Downtown at the Capitol District, 222 N. 10th St. Omaha, NE 68102. New in 2022, a plated dinner is included with the program and VIP tickets are available.
The Live Auction represents an opulent selection of fine wines, wine lots, and private winery tours/experiences donated by the 20+ nationally and internationally recognized participating wineries. The Silent Auction includes many amazing local lots to including tickets to venues, restaurants, and valuable gift baskets. This is a must-attend experience for any wine aficionado.

Reidel Glass Seminar
You’ve probably heard us talking about how the glass makes a difference: but have you ever wondered what the big fuss is all about? We’ve got a simple exercise that will help to show you why RIEDEL Grape Varietal Specific glasses are so important for wine enjoyment!
Dive into the world of wines by learning about wine colors, aromas, and favors as interpreted by RIEDEL. This entertaining and educational opportunity will increase your understanding of how glassware will dramatically enhance your wine drinking experience. The tasting class includes a comparison of four wines using RIEDEL glasses. Each attendee will receive a 4-piece set of Riedel glasses.

It’s time once again for ShuttleCork, where fine arts and fine wines mingle to create Kansas City’s finest party. Over two dazzling nights, you’ll sample world-class offerings from local chefs and sip the best of the West Coast winemakers.
Packages include access to your choice of events, including the Thursday Winemaker Dinner, the Friday Grand Tasting & Live Auction, and Friday after-party, ShuttleCork After Dark. Whatever you choose, you’ll be supporting the Nelson-Atkins’ art education and community programs.

World of Pinot Noir
Join winemakers from the “Grand Cru” vineyards of California for a celebratory look at the history that made California well-known for growing and producing premium Pinot Noir. Led by David Glancy, Master Sommelier and Founder of the San Francisco Wine School, the seminar will showcase Pinot Noir vineyards from the Santa Maria Valley to Russian River Valley, to Anderson Valley, and more. Guests will walk away with a deep understanding of the rich history of farming philosophies, winemaking approaches, and how California vineyards became known for Pinot Noir.
